Technical Project Manager

About the role

Alice builds adversarial environments and evaluations for leading AI labs. As a Technical Project Manager you will own multiple lab engagements, coordinating researchers, engineers, and reviewers to deliver high‑quality AI safety assets on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Own concurrent lab engagements end‑to‑end, defining scope, milestones, delivery, and status.
• Translate customer specifications into detailed task plans covering environments, models, and timelines.
• Track every batch through the pipeline (in progress, under review, approved, delivered) and keep delivery records up to date.
• Identify slipping deadlines early and decide on scope reduction, capacity increase, or schedule adjustment.
• Allocate researchers, task writers, and reviewers across projects based on throughput and specialty.
• Onboard contributors quickly, briefing them on environments, attack patterns, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide quality feedback on rejected work and spot repeat‑rejection patterns.
• Manage the review chain to ensure no batch reaches the customer without internal clearance.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in project, program, or product management with full delivery ownership.
• High autonomy in undefined spaces, able to create processes as needed.
• Comfortable managing contributors without line‑management authority, setting expectations and giving direct feedback.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
