Technical Project Manager – Airborne & UAV Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects involving airborne systems, UAVs and drones for a leading defense organization in Central Israel. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition to customer hand‑over, and includes regular interaction with customers both locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end technology projects, owning them from planning through integration, delivery and acceptance.
• Manage matrix teams across Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement.
• Drive integration of complex airborne platforms and ensure all project tasks, interfaces and milestones are met.
• Work directly with customers in Israel and abroad, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Travel internationally as required by project needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex technology projects.
• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with airborne systems, UAVs or drones.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary matrix teams.
• Strong system‑level technical understanding of complex systems.
• High‑level English proficiency (written and spoken) and willingness to travel internationally.
• Advantage: military background, experience with SIGINT/COMINT, signal processing or radar systems.
