System Engineer – Semiconductor Solutions

About the role

As a Systems Engineer you will design, integrate and optimise complex semiconductor equipment. You will work with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced solutions, write specifications, analyse requirements, define architectures, conduct testing and ensure seamless integration of subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate systems that combine state‑of‑the‑art optics, scanning electron microscopes, lasers, motion control, signal and image processing, and advanced algorithms.
• Define and validate technical requirements for system modules and lead complex subsystems or full products as chief system engineer.
• Perform experiments to guide next‑generation solutions and evaluate optimal system architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical problems across hardware and software domains.

Required profile

• BSc in Physics or Electrical Engineering (MSc is a plus) with at least 5 years of multidisciplinary systems R&D experience.
• Background in electro‑optics, control theory or signal/image processing and experience developing software, algorithms, physics models or motion control solutions.
• Proven ability to manage R&D projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and excellent English communication, both written and oral.
