Systems Engineer – CT R&D (Medical Imaging)

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Computed Tomography (CT) R&D team within the DMS department. You will gather, analyze and review system‑level and sub‑system requirements and coordinate system partitioning and integration using established systems‑engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to system architecture, design and integration of a complex CT sub‑system.
• Perform hands‑on lab work, including system bring‑up, debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Own and maintain system‑level documentation such as requirements, specifications, interfaces and design rationales.
• Support verification and integration activities across multiple CT platforms.
• Lead technical topics and collaborate closely with hardware, software, mechanics, physics, manufacturing, quality and service teams.
• Support field and production issue investigations and drive lifecycle improvements.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Electrical, Biomedical or Systems Engineering (or related field).
• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering or complex product development.
• Strong hands‑on technical experience with complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience writing and maintaining clear, structured technical documentation, preferably for medical devices.
• Knowledge of system integration, verification & validation and design‑control processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
