System Integration Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a hands‑on System Integration Engineer to join its Rehovot team. You will work on complex multi‑disciplinary semiconductor equipment, integrating mechanical, electrical, motion and optical subsystems to meet specifications and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate complete systems, perform tests, troubleshoot modules and conduct customer acceptance testing.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, support, and on‑site technical assistance.
• Maintain documentation, safety procedures and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to develop, build and test new production assemblies and NPI systems.

Required profile

• Practical Engineer diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 0–3 years of technical experience in system integration or related high‑complexity projects.
• Ability to work independently, travel up to 10 % and collaborate in a team environment.

• System integration, calibration and functional testing.
