Storekeeper – Power Plant Spare Parts

About the role

The Storekeeper will ensure the continuous availability of spare parts, tools and consumables for the Operations & Maintenance teams at the Sorek power plant. Working on‑site, you will manage receipt, storage, issuance and documentation of materials using the plant’s ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of spare parts, verify against purchase orders and record in the ERP system.
• Maintain an organized, safe warehouse layout and ensure proper preservation of materials.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock‑takes, reconcile discrepancies and update inventory records.
• Issue parts and tools to maintenance crews, documenting each transaction.
• Identify re‑order points, generate purchase requests and coordinate with procurement to avoid stock‑outs.
• Perform occasional deliveries of parts to nearby Siemens sites using a company vehicle.
• Support maintenance and operations personnel with material needs and logistics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a computerized warehouse environment, preferably in an industrial or power‑generation setting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Forklift licence and practical experience operating a forklift.
• Reading and writing proficiency in English, including the ability to interpret delivery documents.

Required skills

• SAP or similar ERP inventory management system.
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Outlook, Word.
• Forklift operation (licensed).
• Basic computer literacy for inventory data entry.
