Software Engineering Manager – Idira Platform Services

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead the Idira Platform Services team. You will own the SaaS micro‑frontend platform and the critical API services that enable secure customer interactions with Idira solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and mentor a high‑performing engineering team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
• Drive platform execution by delivering new features that provide secure access to Palo Alto Networks’ Cyber Identity portfolio.
• Lead the organization’s AI‑first journey, guiding the team in adopting AI technologies.
• Maintain engineering excellence with a focus on quality, performance, scalability, and end‑to‑end delivery.
• Communicate progress, risks, and roadmaps to stakeholders and manage the capability matrix for Idira integrations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading software engineering teams and shipping complex projects.
• Proven track record managing production SaaS systems and RESTful APIs.
• Experience building and scaling SaaS backend services.
• Hands‑on expertise with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Background in frontend development, particularly micro‑frontend architectures.
