Software Engineer - Virtualization & Networking

About the role

We are looking for a curious, hands‑on engineer to join our R&D team that builds high‑fidelity communication digital twins for tactical MANET systems. You will work at the intersection of networking, virtualization, embedded systems, and wireless communications, primarily using C++, Python and Bash.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise Docker containers and QEMU‑based virtual environments.
• Extend open‑source virtualization solutions to meet real‑time workload requirements.
• Design and implement workload setups for network simulations and troubleshoot bugs.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and influence the product roadmap.
• Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong Linux fundamentals (CLI, file system, basic administration).
• Minimum 3 years of experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker and QEMU.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver with a passion for learning and open‑source collaboration.
