Senior Software Engineer - CT Image Reconstruction

About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Software Engineer to join its Haifa Image Generation group. You will design and develop software for the next generation CT product, implementing complex image processing algorithms and control logic for premium CT products. You will work on CT reconstruction software applications and services, collaborating with engineers from the US, Sweden, Japan, India and China.

Key responsibilities

• Build, design and implement CT image generation and reconstruction software, including algorithms and applications
• Lead complex software designs and related discussions
• Collaborate with system engineers, algorithm developers and other software developers worldwide to align solutions with shared platforms
• Apply SDLC principles and Agile/Scrum, CI, requirements analysis, documentation, security, scalability, refactoring and testing
• Assess and optimize the performance of algorithms and applications
• Take part in developing a common imaging platform for all GEHC imaging products
• Work on core data structures and algorithms

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong C++ background and good communication skills
• Ability to integrate well in a team and global organization and to solve sophisticated problems
• Experience in healthcare software, especially CT, is a strong advantage
