Senior Manager, Procurement & Sourcing
Forter · Israel - Tel Aviv
Job description
About the role
The Senior Manager, Procurement & Sourcing owns Forter's global non-payroll spend lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation through vendor onboarding, contracting, purchase orders and renewals. Reporting to the VP Finance Operations within Finance, you will run a high-impact procurement function that protects margins, speeds up the business with a smooth intake-to-pay experience and keeps spend, risk and contracts under control as the company scales.
Key responsibilities
- Lead competitive sourcing for software, professional services, travel and other operating spend, including requirements, scorecards, RFx, bid evaluation, negotiation and vendor selection, and deliver measurable savings tracked against budget
- Own the strategic vendor portfolio, including renewal strategy, pricing, SLAs and consolidation of overlapping tools, and manage the renewal pipeline proactively
- Own the end-to-end procure-to-pay process and the Zip intake-to-pay platform, from NDAs and new vendors to requisitions, POs, approvals and invoices
- Maintain the Procurement Policy, including spend approval matrix, PO exemptions, contract signatory authority and exception handling
- Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounting on PO compliance, accruals and invoice and close processes, and define KPIs reported to Finance leadership
- Ensure purchases are on approved commercial and legal terms, coordinating MSA, order form and DPA workflows with Legal, and work with Information Security and IT on vendor due diligence and risk tiering
- Serve as the primary procurement point of contact for the VP Finance Operations, CFO, FP&A and department heads, advising on build-vs-buy and vendor selection
- Lead, mentor and grow the Procurement team (procurement analyst), and use AI and automation to streamline intake, contract review, renewal tracking and spend analytics
Required profile
- 8+ years of procurement, sourcing or vendor management experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech or other high-growth technology companies, with strong indirect/software spend exposure
- Proven track record leading complex negotiations and delivering measurable savings
- 2+ years of people management experience, including setting priorities and driving accountability
- Experience applying AI-driven automation to procurement workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and strong analytical skills with spend data, forecasting and reporting
Required skills
- Hands-on experience with a procure-to-pay platform (Zip or similar) and ERP (NetSuite preferred)
- Working knowledge of commercial contracts (MSA, order forms, DPA) and experience with Legal and InfoSec
- Preferred: experience building procurement policy and governance, CPM/CIPS/CPSM certification, vendor risk assessment familiarity, and experience in a global, multi-entity organization
Hybrid work: team members near the key hubs are expected to work from the office at least three days per week.
