Senior Cyber Data Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Cyber Data Analyst on the Axonius Asset Intelligence Research team, you will lead research projects that improve the asset intelligence platform, turning technical insights into product features that help customers secure their entire asset inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end research projects on asset data quality, fidelity assessment, enrichment and correlation across device, identity, software and SaaS assets.
• Build data analysis pipelines using Python, SQL and AI/LLM tools, automate asset research and prototype enrichment and classification logic.
• Define gating conditions to evaluate assets on existence, classification, risk and criticality.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to convert research into production‑ready product capabilities.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in security research, cyber asset management, threat intelligence or security data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting/automation and SQL for querying large‑scale security datasets.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI/LLMs into technical workflows.
• Understanding of security data sources (EDRs, MDMs, CMDBs, network scanners, cloud providers, SaaS tools) and ability to assess their reliability.
