Senior Back End Developer

About the role

We’re looking for a Back end developer to join our development team! As a Back end developer you will develop APIs, microservices, and flexible interfaces at massive scale across multiple continents. The role includes integration with multiple external APIs, processing data, and compiling it to meet various output requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience across different devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential applications to enhance our e‑commerce platform.

Required profile

• 4+ years of back‑end development experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of developing APIs and microservices.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js (e.g., Express or equivalent).
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
• Familiarity with scalable application design principles.
• Experience with data storage solutions such as SQL, Redis, MongoDB.
• Experience with queuing systems like Gearman, RabbitMQ, SQS.
• Implementing automated testing modules and unit tests.
• Proficient with version control tools, especially Git.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and GCP.
• Linux experience and CI/CD process knowledge.
