Retention & Marketing Automation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, tech‑savvy Retention & Marketing Automation Specialist to lead end‑to‑end execution of email campaigns and automated journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work at the intersection of marketing strategy, journey logic and basic marketing‑tech operations, taking campaigns from brief to launch and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test and deploy high‑volume B2C promotional, triggered and lifecycle email campaigns using SFMC Content Builder and Journey Builder.
• Build email layouts with existing templates, configure styles, image paths, UTMs and alt texts.
• Implement basic personalization strings, dynamic content logic and perform HTML/CSS tweaks for rendering issues.
• Define, schedule and maintain campaign triggers, frequency rules and automated flows in Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
• Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimise subject lines, content, CTAs and send times.
• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, unsubscribes, deliverability) and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content creators, data/BI teams and SFMC developers, and perform thorough QA before launch.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience as an Email Campaign Manager, CRM Specialist or Marketing Automation Specialist in a B2C environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder and Journey Builder).
• Data‑driven mindset with strong understanding of email KPIs and A/B testing.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• Basic HTML & CSS for email troubleshooting.
• Understanding of relational data structures (Data Extensions, primary keys).
• Ability to configure personalization strings and dynamic content.
• Familiarity with email deliverability best practices and web asset preparation.
