About the role
Novocure is seeking a motivated Research Assistant Student to join its preclinical team. This hands‑on laboratory position supports ongoing research projects, maintains a safe and organized lab environment, and records scientific data. It is ideal for a responsible, independent student looking to gain practical experience alongside their studies.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with ongoing preclinical research activities following established procedures.
- Record scientific reports and research‑related documentation accurately.
- Maintain laboratory workspaces, surfaces, and equipment in good condition.
- Support the team with routine laboratory tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Student enrolled in Life Sciences, Biology or a related field with at least three years of study remaining.
- Availability for at least four weekend shifts per month (Friday/Saturday) and occasional holiday evenings.
- Commitment of approximately 36 hours per month, including a 1.5–3 month training period during the week.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
