Regional Trade Compliance Program Manager (EMEA, Israel)

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is seeking a Regional Trade Compliance Program Manager to act as the EMEA lead within its Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team and as the primary Ethics & Compliance partner for Israel. The role reports to the Director of Global Trade Compliance in the US and is based in Israel.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the EMEA regional lead for global trade compliance, representing GTC and managing team members across the region
• Research local and regional trade regulations and rulings (HS, ECCN/Export Classification, country of origin, import/export documentation and product valuation)
• Lead regional import/export classification and oversee the EU, UK and Israel export license process
• Review the impact of annual import/export regulatory changes on company technology and liaise with local customs authorities and government agencies
• Guide regional teams on daily operations and recordkeeping, and deliver compliance awareness training
• Develop standardized trade compliance processes, support denied parties screening, run internal audits and drive remediation
• Report key trade compliance metrics to management and act as a liaison with cross-functional teams
• As Ethics & Compliance lead for Israel: guide local employees and managers, conduct internal investigations, deliver tailored training, advise on conflicts of interest and promote a culture of ethics and integrity

Required profile

• 7-10 years of Global Trade Compliance experience; ethics and compliance experience is a plus
• Solid knowledge of EU trade regulations and demonstrated experience with Israel import/export regulations
• BS or BA degree
• Previous experience managing programs and ability to work with minimal direction
• Ability to travel as needed and proficiency in English; one EU language required, Hebrew a plus
