Production Quality Engineer

About the role

Philips is hiring a Production Quality Engineer in Haifa. The engineer drives product quality performance across the product lifecycle, from design transfer through manufacturing and field performance, and leads investigations and quality improvement work.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, trends, defects and customer/field feedback to spot risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead root-cause analysis of product and process quality issues, and lead NC, QN, CAPA and complaint investigations with timely containment and corrective actions.
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Service, Suppliers and Regulatory/Quality teams on complex quality issues.
• Support NPI, design transfer, product changes and production ramp-up, ensuring quality requirements and controls are set up correctly.
• Review design requirements, risk management, PFMEA, control plans, verification/validation and manufacturing documentation, and support quality reviews (failure modes, yield, DPU/DPMO, FTR).
• Drive containment and disposition of affected inventory and shipped products, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare quality metrics, risk assessments and improvement plans for management and stakeholders, support audits, and give technical guidance to engineering and manufacturing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Biomedical or Industrial Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Product Quality Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices, is an advantage.
• Experience with NPI, design transfer, manufacturing processes and cross-functional problem solving.

What we offer

• Base salary range of 20,000 to 26,000 NIS, depending on skills, experience and responsibility.
• Eligibility for a bonus or incentive linked to KPIs and company results.
• Office-based teams work in person at least 3 days per week; onsite roles require full-time presence at the facility.
