Product Quality Engineer

About the role

Philips is hiring a Product Quality Engineer in Haifa. The engineer owns and drives the quality performance of manufacturing processes, making sure they consistently meet quality, regulatory and product requirements, and works closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, R&D, PQE, SQE, Supplier Quality and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor process quality using KPIs such as FTR, DPU/DPMO, yield, defects, rework, scrap and process capability.
• Identify quality risks and lead initiatives to reduce variation, defects and quality escapes.
• Perform root-cause analysis of defects and failures using 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, DMAIC and similar methods.
• Lead investigations of Non-Conformances, Quality Notifications and other quality issues, and define containment, corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide quality input to PFMEA, Control Plans, process flows, work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Support process validation and re-validation, including protocols, execution, data analysis and reports.
• Support NPI, design transfer and production ramp-up with appropriate quality controls.
• Establish and monitor process quality control plans, analyse quality trends and prepare for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and with root-cause analysis, quality improvement and manufacturing processes.
• Preferred: experience in medical devices or another regulated industry, and with PFMEA, Control Plans, process validation, NC/QN/CAPA and change management.

What we offer

• Base salary range of 20,000 to 25,000 NIS, depending on skills, experience and responsibility.
• Eligibility for a bonus linked to KPIs and company results.
• Office-based teams work in person at least 3 days per week; onsite roles require full-time presence at the facility.
