Production Quality Engineer

About the role

The Production Quality Engineer will define and implement a quality framework for Mobileye’s new‑product introductions (NPI) and serial production. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure automotive standards and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll out production quality workplans for NPI and serial production from scratch.
• Collaborate with product managers, development and production engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.
• Analyze production processes, capability, capacity and measurement systems.
• Conduct VDA6.3 audits and lead 8D investigations of faults.
• Maintain and update PPAP folders for Mobileye systems.
• Identify improvement opportunities, create work‑item templates and coach teams on their use.
• Monitor KPIs, suggest corrective actions and represent quality issues with customers and third‑party organizations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience in NPI and production quality, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive core tools, standards (ASPICE, IATF16949, ISO 9001, VDA/AIAG, ISO 26262).
• Certification as a supplier auditor (ISO 19001/VDA6.3) is a plus.
• Experience with PLM, ALM and issue‑tracking tools such as Jira.
• Highly organized, process‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a matrix environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
