Planning Leader – Global Planning Function

About the role

The Planning Leader will own and build Quantum Machines' global planning function, translating business demand into executable production and supply plans. This senior position drives alignment across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and manufacturing partners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end planning process, from demand forecasting through production and supply planning.
• Build and continuously improve planning infrastructure, including tools, automated processes, workflows, data dashboards and routines.
• Lead planning across three contract‑manufacturing partners on three continents.
• Develop global production plans that balance demand, capacity, inventory, lead times and business priorities.
• Identify supply‑chain risks early and drive mitigation actions for shortages, long lead times, capacity constraints and demand changes.
• Partner closely with Sales to translate customer commitments into realistic operational plans.
• Own and lead the S&OP process, aligning key stakeholders.
• Establish KPIs and management routines covering demand, supply, capacity, inventory and operational risks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in planning, supply chain or operations planning within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing planning across multiple global contract manufacturers.
• Track record of building planning processes and infrastructure from the ground up.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.
