Planner – Materials & Operations

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking analytical and motivated professionals to join its planning team in Rehovot. As a Planner you will ensure seamless alignment between supply chain, production, and business objectives, supporting the delivery of cutting‑edge semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and control an integrative end‑to‑end operational plan while meeting Operations excellence targets.
• Ensure tools are shipped in the required configuration by accurate forecasting and managing customers' non‑standard requests.
• Work and lead in a cross‑functional environment with multiple local and global interfaces (business, R&D, supply chain, manufacturing).
• Integrate execution activities across manufacturing, material, and R&D while optimizing team resources.
• Support NPI processes from R&D to production and improve line performance.
• Optimize product‑line clean‑room space and work with SAP and other internal information systems.
• Ensure material responsiveness to production schedules and continuously improve performance metrics.
• Oversee transitions between old and new products with minimal material impact.

Required profile

• BSc in Industrial Engineering (mandatory).
• 0–2 years of experience in planning or operational roles.
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong analytical and fast‑thinking abilities.
• Customer‑oriented with the ability to influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and related internal organizational information systems.
• Experience with material planning and responsiveness to production schedules.
