Pediatric Nutrition Medical Representative

About the role

Abbott Israel ANI is looking for a Pediatric Nutrition Medical Representative, a field role in the Nutrition Division. The representative achieves sales targets by managing an assigned region and promoting products such as Similac and Pediasure to health care professionals, increasing their awareness of the role of nutrition in quality of life. Meetings with health care professionals take place mainly in northern Israel, including the Arab sector.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical and nutritional science, the healthcare landscape and digital trends to educate a wide network of HCPs.
• Execute multichannel customer engagement plans that generate demand and grow recommendation and market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders, expanding the customer network.
• Use data from digital and other omnichannel activities to tailor engagement to each HCP's needs and goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on patient education and a consistent customer experience.
• Measure progress against customer and account objectives and act to meet targets.
• Act in line with compliance and regulatory expectations and conduct sales calls using Abbott's methods.
• Achieve the cycle and annual sales plan and the coverage and frequency of targeted customers set by the team leader.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Nutrition, Nursing or Life Sciences, or equivalent.
• Relevant sales experience (mandatory).
• Professional employment as a Medical Representative is an advantage.
• Sales-oriented, excellent communication skills, assertive, able to work under pressure and in a team, and open to feedback.
• Fluent in Hebrew; reading, writing and speaking English and Arabic is an advantage.
