Part-Time Product Owner Intern

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is recruiting a part-time Product Owner intern in Herzliya, Israel. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. As a Product Owner, you will join the product owners group responsible for delivering customer-centric solutions for thousands of customers worldwide, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle of one or more Zerto product domains, from discovery through delivery and adoption.
• Understand customer challenges and business needs through direct engagement with customers, Customer Success, Support and Sales.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support and executive leadership to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements against customer impact, technical dependencies, delivery timelines and strategic objectives.
• Partner with Engineering to clarify requirements, resolve trade-offs and ensure successful delivery.
• Use data, product analytics, customer feedback, experimentation and AI-powered insights to support product decisions and measure success.
• Leverage modern AI tools to accelerate product discovery, documentation, competitive research and feedback analysis.
• Present product initiatives, roadmaps and outcomes, and define, track and improve product KPIs, adoption and customer satisfaction metrics.

Required profile

• A student with at least 18-24 months remaining in a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Economics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management or Data Science.
• Naturally curious, analytical and data-driven, interested in Product Management practices and AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Nice to have: previous Product Management or Product Owner experience, familiarity with enterprise software, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, storage or cybersecurity, and experience with Jira and Confluence.
