Motion & Control Supplier Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to lead the quality domain for cutting‑edge suppliers within the Engineering department. You will work with a professional engineering team to manage complex modules and ensure smooth production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of supplier non‑conformances from initiation to closure.
• Analyze quality trends, advise management on remedial actions, and report non‑conformance status.
• Represent Engineering in Material Review Board (MRB) meetings, performing technical assessments and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations and suppliers to drive continuous improvement (FPY, SPC, 8D).
• Identify and manage potential quality risks, including supply‑chain disruptions.

Required profile

• BSc in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality or engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Certified Quality Engineer (advantage).
• Lead auditor certification (advantage).
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, IATF 16949, AS9100 standards.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
• Root‑cause analysis, 8D problem‑solving, Statistical Process Control (SPC).
