Medical Scientific Liaison (Immunology)

About the role

Novartis Israel is hiring a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) for its Immunology therapeutic area. The MSL acts as a scientific ambassador, exchanging peer-to-peer scientific information with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Medical Experts (MEs) to strengthen the company's scientific presence, support evidence-based decisions and inform medical strategy. This is a field-based role operating primarily in the field, based in Israel, and no relocation support is offered.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Medical Expert engagement plans aligned with therapeutic area priorities, mapping and involving MEs and key accounts
• Conduct unbiased, evidence-based scientific exchanges with HCPs and MEs, sharing clinical data and publications
• Support ME/HCP education such as hospital meetings, regional events, symposia and educational initiatives
• Collect and share external insights from clinical practice and competitors to inform local and regional medical strategy
• Contribute to country medical plans and disease area strategies
• Identify and qualify potential study sites and facilitate communication between sites and internal teams
• Build partnerships with Medical Experts, scientific societies and academic institutions
• Provide clinical context, data interpretation and training to internal partners
• Ensure all engagements, materials, CRM documentation and reporting meet regulatory, medical governance and company guidance

Required profile

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, DVM, DMD, PhD in Life Sciences) or equivalent
• Proficient written and spoken Hebrew and English
• Strong communication, planning, prioritization and territory management skills
• Ability to partner in a matrix environment, influence without authority and build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals
