Mechanical QC Inspector

About the role

A Mechanical QC Inspector is needed to inspect shipments of inventory in the mechanic/plastics field. The role is based in the plastics warehouse, working alongside the warehousemen and involving physical work. The inspector communicates regularly with internal parties such as manufacturing and R&D, and with external contractors, plastic and mechanic suppliers, including regular site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments
• Carry out source inspections
• Follow up on non-conformances
• Record inspection results and track product quality
• Define inspection specifications

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic QC in a production factory
• Experience using standard mechanical measuring tools
• Excellent English (writing and reading)
• Assertive, independent and good communicator
• Valid driving licence

Required skills

• Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Decision making, manufacturing and quality control
• Visual inspections and use of measuring equipment
• Technical writing and mechanical drawings

Advantages: a Mechanical Practical Engineering diploma, experience testing injection-moulded plastic parts, and knowledge of the IPC610 standard. The position is open to current employees and contingent workers.
