Materials & Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are a growing medical device company seeking a Materials & Logistics Specialist to own end‑to‑end materials and logistics operations. The role combines planning, purchasing, inventory control and coordination of domestic and international shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control material requirements based on production plans, demand forecasts and inventory levels using MRP/ERP systems.
• Execute purchasing activities, create and manage purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Oversee inventory and warehouse operations, including receiving, counting, storage, picking, packing and shipment preparation.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, handling import/export processes, customs documentation, Incoterms and logistics.
• Manage returns and reverse logistics, collaborating with production, engineering, quality, finance, sales and customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in materials planning, purchasing, logistics, inventory management or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience with MRP/ERP systems and creating/managing purchase orders.
• Experience handling domestic and international shipments, import/export procedures, Incoterms and customs documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English for communication with international partners.
