Manager, Adversarial Tactics (Cybersecurity)

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal’s Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Tel Aviv is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead its Adversarial Tactics team. You will guide red‑team, purple‑team and threat‑emulation engagements, mentor a high‑performing cohort of operators, and deliver executive‑grade insights that improve clients’ detection and response capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑spectrum adversarial assessments (red, purple, threat‑informed testing) against enterprise environments.
• Design and execute threat‑emulation campaigns mapped to MITRE ATT&CK and client‑specific threat models.
• Build and operationalize adversary toolchains, C2 frameworks, payloads and OPSEC safeguards.
• Partner with blue‑team counterparts to conduct hypothesis‑driven detection engineering and iterative control tuning.
• Own scoping, methodology selection, risk management and stakeholder communication throughout engagements.
• Produce clear, evidence‑based reports and executive readouts translating technical findings into business‑relevant risk and remediation road‑maps.
• Contribute to go‑to‑market strategies, proposals and global operational standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading red‑team or adversarial testing engagements.
• Strong track record of mentoring technical teams and delivering client‑ready outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with security and executive audiences.
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into concise business narratives.
