About the role
Ormat, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage its international shipments. The role focuses on sea freight operations and coordination with freight forwarders, ensuring smooth movement of equipment for power plant projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage international shipments, primarily sea freight.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping companies.
- Handle third‑party shipments and Letters of Credit, including documentation preparation.
- Work closely with local and international logistics providers and multiple internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in international logistics and working with freight forwarders/shipping companies.
- High level of English.
- Experience in a project department within a forwarding company (advantage).
- Experience with Letters of Credit (advantage).
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
