Level Designer

About the role

Moon Active is seeking a passionate Level Designer to shape immersive mobile experiences. You will own the end‑to‑end creation of levels and mini‑games, from concept through final polish, while collaborating closely with Art, Animation, and Tech teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and visually dress engaging levels and mini‑games using Unity and internal tools.
• Plan level progression and craft difficulty curves, leveraging player metrics, A/B test results, and user feedback.
• Guide Art, Animation, and Tech Art teams, providing clear feedback to ensure visual assets align with level design.
• Drive levels through production, coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet strict deadlines.
• Pitch new game mechanics, obstacles, and themes to keep gameplay fresh.
• Continuously improve the level‑creation pipeline, exploring AI‑driven workflows.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience in the gaming industry (Level Designer, Game Designer, Tech Artist, or Product Manager).
• Strong project‑management and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate cross‑functional teams.
• Keen eye for composition, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
• Data‑driven mindset, experienced in balancing levels using metrics and A/B testing.
• Deep passion for casual mobile games and a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Unity (or any game engine) proficiency.
• Experience with A/B testing and data‑driven level balancing.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools for content creation (advantage).
