Senior Product Designer (AI‑Driven Design Tools)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the design of a core area of the Optibus platform while also building the agentic toolchain that reshapes how our design team works. The role combines end‑to‑end product design with the creation of internal AI‑driven tools, allowing you to prototype in code and influence the future of design automation.

Key responsibilities

• Take full design ownership of a significant product surface from discovery through launch, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
• Design, build, and maintain the agents, skills and commands that the design team uses daily, turning tickets into reviewable prototypes.
• Prototype quickly in working code by orchestrating AI agents, reviewing and steering their output.
• Define quality standards for agent outputs, create lightweight checks, and decide when manual work is preferable.
• Run rituals that turn new tools into habits – prototyping sprints, office hours, pairing sessions, internal demos and documentation.

Required profile

• 6+ years designing complex systems or platforms with a strong portfolio that shows process and impact.
• Demonstrated leadership in transforming design team workflows.
• Comfortable reading and guiding HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript code produced by agents.
• Excellent written communication for prompts, specifications and documentation.
