Lead Frontend Engineer – Infrastructure & Developer Experience

About the role

Mastercard’s Dynamic Yield team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the Front‑end Infrastructure & Developer Experience group. You will define the technical roadmap for the frontend ecosystem, set standards, and build scalable infrastructure that enables product teams to deliver high‑quality features quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce architectural standards for the frontend stack.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, linting/formatting, testing frameworks and Storybook.
• Lead the creation of reusable developer tooling, documentation and design‑system components.
• Champion micro‑frontend architecture and global state management across large applications.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering stakeholders to ensure consistency and performance.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in frontend development with a focus on React and TypeScript.
• Strong background in building and operating frontend infrastructure and developer tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable architectures such as micro‑frontends.
• Commitment to testing, accessibility and clean, maintainable code.
• Excellent communication skills and a curiosity for emerging technologies.
