Lab Technician and Equipment Specialist

About the role

Biolojic Design, Ltd. is seeking a Lab Technician and Equipment Specialist to support its cutting‑edge antibody design platform. The role involves performing routine laboratory tasks, maintaining equipment, and providing scientific support to ensure smooth research operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare buffers and substrates, perform accurate weighing, pH calibration, filtration, and aliquoting.
• Work under sterile conditions and operate biological and chemical safety hoods according to SOPs.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support repairs.
• Perform routine tissue‑culture maintenance, including Mycoplasma testing.
• Support daily lab operations, sterilize equipment, and keep the workspace clean and safe.
• Conduct inventory checks for laboratory and warehouse supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical settings.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
