Lab Technician – Analytical Testing

About the role

The Laboratory Technician will join IFF’s production team to perform analytical testing on raw materials, finished products and samples, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or computer technologies.
• Conduct analytical tests on raw materials, finished goods and process samples.
• Document control processes electronically and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise production work according to standard operating procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatography (GC) systems.
• Work in shift schedules, including weekends, holidays and Saturdays.

Required profile

• Education in chemistry – associate degree, technician diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biotechnology or Food Science.
• Experience handling chemicals; knowledge of GC is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments and computer‑based work environments.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• High proficiency in Hebrew (reading, writing, speaking) and good English skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
