Technician III, Maintenance

About the role

The Technician III, Maintenance provides comprehensive upkeep and repair across multiple trades within a moderately complex industrial environment. Reporting to senior engineering staff, the role ensures equipment reliability and facility safety while supporting IFF’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet‑metal, millwright, and painting crafts.
• Diagnose equipment failures, execute emergency fixes, and implement preventive maintenance plans.
• Utilize shop machinery and hand tools to complete cost‑effective repairs.
• Lead and mentor less‑skilled assistants on daily tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and external contractors for specialized interventions.

Required profile

• Practical experience in a primary craft with the ability to work across multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of building and equipment maintenance histories.
• Ability to lead a small team and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
