Information Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Information Security Specialist to join a leading telecommunications company in Givat Shmuel. The role blends security implementation, day‑to‑day operations, and participation in technology projects across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement information security policies, procedures and technical controls.
• Provide security guidance throughout technological projects.
• Manage security incidents, vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Operate and tune firewalls, SIEM, EDR/XDR and other advanced security solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, SOC teams, vendors and business partners.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of professional experience in information security.
• Hands‑on experience with security systems and technologies.
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001.
• Experience in incident response, vulnerability management and system hardening.

Required skills

• Firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Cloudflare).
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Endpoint Detection and Response / Extended Detection and Response (EDR/XDR).
• Cloud platforms – AWS and/or Azure.
• Data‑center and virtualization environments.
