Industrial Engineer – Operations & Process Improvement

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join its Process Diagnostics and Control (PDC) business unit in Rehovot. The role focuses on developing and analysing operational processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across production floor activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead independent projects aimed at line design optimisation, cycle‑time reduction and ROI simulations.
• Define, implement and monitor new processes and infrastructure that support efficient operations in a low‑validity business environment.
• Analyse operational and financial KPIs to ensure productivity gains and added value.

Required profile

• BSc in Industrial Engineering or equivalent with more than 4 years of experience in IE/operational roles.
• Proven project‑management experience and ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent English communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities to influence internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (CI, continuous improvement).
• Project management techniques.
• Analytical thinking and fast problem‑solving.
