Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our AFCAPV program in Israel. The role involves operating a range of material‑handling equipment to receive, store, process, and ship supplies while supporting both technical and clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Operate light and heavy equipment for loading, unloading, and palletizing pallets.
• Assist the shipping clerk with documentation, inventory tracking, and order processing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on assigned machinery.
• Receive, inspect, store, and ship material in compliance with program requirements.
• Monitor environmental conditions and adhere to safety and environmental protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Operator license for motorized pallet jack (walkie‑rider).
• At least two years of experience in shipping, receiving, stocking, or warehousing.
• Formal training on material‑handling equipment from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental issues; prior military experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
