Head of Supply Chain Management & Customer Service

About the role

Novartis is seeking a senior leader to head Supply Chain Management and Customer Service in Israel. Based in Tel Aviv, you will shape the country’s supply chain strategy, ensure medicine availability, and drive cost‑effective operations while complying with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Govern supply chain processes, aligning them with global strategies for Sales & Business Planning, Warehouse & Distribution, demand and supply planning.
• Develop demand and inventory policies, provide strategic input for short‑ and medium‑term business plans, and forecast financial and volume impacts.
• Oversee logistics, warehousing and 3PL performance, manage budgets, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Lead life‑cycle management activities across product launches, production transfers, technical projects, and divestments.
• Run a sustainable country‑level Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Manage order management, financial reporting, reconciliation and toll reconciliation processes.
• Maintain distribution channels, contractual frameworks and customer service standards.
• People‑manage the supply chain team: hiring, development, performance targets and safety compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Science, Economics, Finance or Industrial Engineering.
• 5‑7 years of managerial experience in supply chain or logistics within pharmaceuticals, food or FMCG.
• Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams and ability to drive strategic initiatives.
