Group Controller

About the role

The Group Controller will lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting processes for the entire organization. This senior position owns the preparation of consolidated financial statements under US GAAP and ensures alignment with international subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consolidation and reporting across international subsidiaries, maintaining consistent accounting policies and standards.
• Manage the accounting and financial reporting team, establishing clear timelines, responsibilities, controls and closing procedures.
• Oversee the accounting treatment of complex transactions and technical accounting matters.
• Work directly with external auditors and professional advisors, leading annual and interim audit/review processes.
• Support public‑company reporting requirements, SOX/internal‑control readiness and the development of Group accounting policies.
• Maintain strong control over inventory, cost accounting, intercompany transactions and other matters relevant to a significant manufacturing operation.
• Assist the CFO on accounting, reporting, financing, M&A and other strategic finance initiatives.

Required profile

• CPA certification (mandatory) with strong, practical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Significant experience preparing and consolidating financial statements for a multinational group.
• 5–7 years in a Controller‑level position, leading finance/accounting teams and reporting processes.
• Experience in a publicly traded company, familiar with SOX, public‑company reporting standards and controls.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with substantial inventory and cost accounting activity.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
