Financial Controller

About the role

BlueBird Aero Systems is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Finance team. The role offers broad exposure to the company’s financial operations, including month‑end close, reporting, budgeting and internal controls, within a fast‑growing aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform internal controls, account reconciliations and monitor expenses, revenues and invoices.
• Assist with SOX control implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Support tax reporting and compliance activities.
• Help drive budgeting, budget control and financial analysis for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing or a publicly‑traded company.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Priority or SAP.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
