Global Quality & Operational Excellence Director

About the role

Netafim, part of Orbia, is looking for a Global Quality & Operational Excellence Director to define and lead its global Quality and Operational Excellence strategy across all manufacturing plants, supply chain operations and relevant business units. The role drives a world-class culture of Quality, Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, and leads a global network of Quality and OpEx professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy the global Quality strategy, set quality standards and governance, and lead quality maturity and digital quality tools, including a Six-Sigma culture
• Define the Global Operational Excellence roadmap, promote Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, TPM, SMED, Visual Management), and drive productivity and waste reduction
• Monitor global quality KPIs such as COPQ, customer complaints and defects, run monthly operational reviews and benchmark performance across regions and plants
• Lead the Global Supplier Quality organization, including supplier qualification, auditing, improvement initiatives and complaint management
• Provide functional leadership to Regional and Site Quality Managers, support manufacturing operations and lead quality improvement and plant transformation projects
• Build global training and certification programs, coach leaders on Lean and Six Sigma, and lead organizational change initiatives
• Partner with Global Operations Leadership and collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, R&D and Commercial functions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related field; Master's degree (MBA or Engineering) preferred
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing or Supply Chain
• Proven experience managing global, multi-site operations and leading organizational transformation in complex manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated success in building and leading global teams

Required skills

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement
• Preferred certifications: CMQ/OE, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Master Black Belt
• Leadership competencies: strategic thinking, change leadership, stakeholder management, problem solving and team leadership
