Global Category Manager - Strategic Procurement

About the role

Netafim is looking for a Global Category Manager to join its Global Procurement team and lead strategic sourcing categories supporting water and irrigation solutions across global markets. The role manages suppliers in Israel and abroad, drives cost reduction, and builds category strategies aligned with the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage strategic procurement categories and a portfolio of local and global suppliers.
• Lead sourcing activities, tenders, supplier evaluation and onboarding processes.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and manage agreements and contracts with suppliers in Israel and internationally.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives, supplier performance improvements and risk mitigation activities.
• Monitor market trends, technological developments and sourcing opportunities, including regular supplier visits.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a global industrial company.
• Experience in direct procurement of technical and physical products.
• Proven experience managing commercial negotiations, contracts and supplier relationships locally and globally.
• Excellent English communication skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
