First-Year Investment Banking Analyst, Tel Aviv

About the role

Citi is looking for a first-year analyst to join its on-the-ground Investment Banking team in Tel Aviv, Israel. The analyst supports the team on transaction execution and deal initiatives across sectors and products such as mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, debt financings and other financial advisory services. The role offers direct coverage and execution experience on high-profile transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out complex financial analysis and financial modeling
• Assist in preparing company pitch books, marketing materials and client presentations
• Assist in performing due diligence
• Perform research and analyses supporting new business generation
• Interact regularly with Citi team members across industry and product teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a leading university; a Master's degree is a plus
• Previous experience in investment banking, accounting or a consulting firm is preferred
• Strong interest in investment banking, with creative thinking on strategic client issues and a strong grasp of valuation, finance, business strategy and accounting
• Ability to judge, prioritize and work on multiple assignments
• Written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English
