Financial Controller

About the role

Nym is seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting for its fast‑growing healthcare AI platform. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will ensure accurate, timely financial statements and provide data‑driven insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations and produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for executives and the board.
• Manage the external audit process, ensuring timely completion of all requests.
• Build bottom‑up financial models for planning, measurement and forecasting.
• Partner with leadership to embed a culture of measurement and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Participate in annual budgeting, long‑term planning, rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
• Drive finance process efficiencies, including AI‑enabled automation of workflows.
• Summarize actionable insights for the executive team to improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Certified accountant (CPA or equivalent).
• 2+ years experience as a Financial Controller, preferably in a high‑tech environment.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑growing, global, ambiguous environment across multiple time zones.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or similar accounting system).
• Advanced Excel.
• Financial modeling.
• Experience with AI tools and their implementation in finance processes.
