Financial Controller – Group Finance

About the role

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Financial Controller to join the Group Finance team of Plus500 Ltd. based in Tel Aviv. The role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance and internal control processes across the Group’s subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Coordinate external audit work and preparation of financial statements.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems, internal controls and compliance with IFRS.
• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including accounts payable, cash flow, banking transactions and VAT reconciliation.
• Oversee tax affairs, calculate provisions and ensure timely payment of all applicable taxes.
• Prepare budget‑vs‑actual analyses, inter‑company reporting and capital adequacy reviews for subsidiaries.
• Support subsidiaries and local finance teams with guidelines, signatory rights and ad‑hoc accounting projects.
• Collaborate with other business units to act as a finance business partner.

Required profile

• CPA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm, preferably within a high‑tech environment.
• 3‑4 years of controller experience in a publicly listed company.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP.
• In‑depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
