Financial Controller – Global Beauty Brand

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Financial Controller to join our finance team. You will lead the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support the company’s growth across global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with tax authorities, VAT, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Support annual audits and work closely with external auditors and advisors.
• Manage cash‑flow reporting and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Partner with FP&A and operational teams to support budgeting and business decisions.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain daily financial operations within the ERP system.
• Mentor and manage accounting team members.

Required profile

• CPA with Big 4 experience – mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience as a Financial Controller.
• Experience in a global company, preferably retail, e‑commerce, tech, or consumer sectors.
• Strong understanding of consolidated financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience working with US entities and international subsidiaries.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• CPA certification.
• Big 4 audit experience.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Experience using ERP systems for financial operations.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
