Excel Specialist - Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Excel Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will design realistic business scenarios, create and evaluate Office documents, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI‑generated outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate challenging business scenarios using advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word features.
• Engage in structured, multi‑turn conversations with a large language model, presenting complex prompts and reviewing AI‑generated deliverables.
• Create, edit, and assess .xlsx.docx, and .pptx files, comparing two AI solutions and selecting the preferred output.
• Document feedback with side‑by‑side preference data to guide AI model improvements.
• Contribute domain‑specific insights across multiple industries and business functions.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats for the AI training team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high‑impact projects.
• Proven ability to build complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations in finance, healthcare, tech, consulting, or retail.
• Background in roles such as private‑equity associate, investment‑banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience interacting with LLMs or writing long‑form AI prompts is a strong plus.
