Environmental Health & Safety Governance Manager

About the role

As an Environmental Health & Safety Governance Manager at IFF, you will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites in Bar‑Lev, Israel. You will ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards while supporting operational excellence and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage EHS programs across sites, from design to implementation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws, permits and corporate standards.
• Oversee key programs such as wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions, PPE and emergency response.
• Partner with regulatory agencies, manage reporting, permits and compliance obligations.
• Lead incident, accident and near‑miss investigations, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Drive EHS data management, reporting and performance tracking for regulatory and business needs.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Support waste‑management processes and contribute to EHS‑related capital projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience working with regulatory agencies and managing permits and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, data‑management and reporting abilities.
• Fluent business‑level English.
