Director of Retail

About the role

Steiner Hearing Care, part of Sonova Israel, is looking for a dynamic Director of Retail to lead its nationwide chain of hearing‑rehabilitation clinics. You will join the Sonova Israel leadership team and be responsible for driving growth, operational excellence, and superior customer service across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the nationwide network of clinics to meet sales and performance targets.
• Manage and develop Regional Managers and the broader retail management team.
• Create annual business plans, set objectives, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze business data, identify trends, and launch initiatives to improve results.
• Implement organizational change, policies, and process optimisations.
• Ensure professional, operational, and service excellence at every retail site.
• Lead strategic, cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience managing a nationwide retail network.
• Background in the medical‑device or service‑oriented sector is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to manage managers and large teams.
• Experience with budgets, business planning, and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Successful track record of leading organisational change initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and high level of English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Israel and work from the Haifa headquarters.
