Director of Product Design

About the role

Lead and mentor a team of senior product designers to shape AI‑powered clinical experiences at Aidoc, a market leader in healthcare AI.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product design vision, principles and strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of three senior product designers.
• Translate complex clinical workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences.
• Stay hands‑on with high‑impact design challenges from discovery through execution.
• Build a research‑driven design culture focused on deep customer and workflow understanding.
• Partner with product, engineering, clinical and executive leadership to influence strategy.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product design experience, preferably on complex B2B, enterprise or SaaS products.
• 3+ years of experience managing and coaching senior designers.
• Proven ability to own complex product experiences and turn ambiguous problems into clear solutions.
• Strong product and systems thinking with influence over product strategy.
• Passion for AI and human‑AI collaboration, with healthcare or regulated‑domain experience a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise across discovery, UX, interaction design, prototyping and product delivery.
• Deep experience with user research, customer discovery and usability testing.
• Experience building or evolving design systems and scalable design practices.
• Strong communication skills to explain design decisions and create alignment.
